What racers need to know

BRCA cover & eligibility

A current BRCA number and the appropriate cover are required for racing. Age, supervision and event-specific eligibility must follow the approved club and BRCA rules.

Hi-vis & marshalling

Racers must follow the meeting’s marshalling procedure and wear the required high-visibility clothing while marshalling. Race control and the live-track boundary take priority.

Touring car classes

Only classes and equipment confirmed for the meeting may run. Check the event notice and current class-specific BRCA rules before entering.

Pits & batteries

LiPo charging, safe storage, damaged-battery response and pit behaviour need the club’s exact approved wording.

Track & emergencies

Marshal points, spectator separation, emergency access, first response and live-track recovery procedure need operational sign-off.

Weather & cancellation

Decision ownership, cut-off times and the channels used to communicate cancellation or timetable changes need confirmation.

Vehicle checks

Transmitters, fail-safe behaviour, batteries, tyres, body shells and timing equipment must comply with the meeting and class rules.
